CONTEXT AND OBJECTIVES
Loneliness is a growing problem in Europe, with serious health consequences and high social costs. Inclusive communities and volunteering have been shown to improve well-being and social connections.
The project addresses the need to develop tools to reduce isolation and promote social inclusion. The goal of "The Beam" is to develop and scale a "bridge building model" (BBModel) capable of reducing barriers to participation and increasing inclusion in volunteer communities.
